An Evening at National Jean Company

There's nothing better than shopping to support a great cause. So when National Jean Company invited me to a fundraiser at their Wellesley store to benefit the Ellie Fund, I was thrilled. With breast cancer no stranger in my immediate family and writing a lifestyle blog, I wanted to show my support through style.

The event was hosted by Sue Brady, the afternoon voice of Mix 104.1 FM. Bustling with women of all ages, the special evening included sales, sips, sweets and more. National Jean Company offered guests 20% off of their entire purchase with 10% of the proceeds going directly to the Ellie Fund, an organization dedicated to helping local women who are battling breast cancer.

If you're unfamiliar with National Jean Company, they don't just sell denim, my dear. I purchased a navy dress by Three Dots which a sales associate selected for me and assured me I'd love. I was skeptical at first because the dress did not drape well on the hanger. But once it caressed my curves, I knew I'd take it home. The sales associate had an absolute eye for style (I only wish I remembered her name).
